On Wednesday (September 25th), our team helped plant a sustainable and productive edible garden which will help improve wellbeing for the hospital community.
We really enjoyed contributing to the local community in cooperation with the Forest of Hearts who we work closely with throughout each year. The Box Factory have an ongoing pledge to plant a tree for every £50,000 of turnover, which equates to around 275 trees per year!
The aim of this day was to create an edible garden to grow food for the hospital, increase biodiversity, help benefit 1000's of local people and add value to the NHS Foundation Trust.
We hope this will make a real difference in the community and look forward to many more events alongside the Forest of Hearts.
