The Box Factory is one of the UK’s largest, most successful independent manufacturers of corrugated boxes, keeping customers happy since 1992.

Combining this 30+ years of experience with well invested industry leading manufacturing facilities. The Box Factory is able to offer seamless service levels to customers who require high volumes of packaging.

We employ best manufacturing processes to ensure we are highly competitive, with a consistent level of quality backed up by our international accreditations and certifications (link to quality section). We can help guide customers on their path to sustainability with our FSC certified materials and support customers in the food & drink, pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors with our BRCGS  accreditation.

Based in Warwickshire, The Box Factory provides packaging solutions across the UK. Its team of over 100 specialists sit across a variety of sections: design, manufacturing, logistics, sales, marketing and customer relations. They all work in conjunction to create a seamless process that creates the perfect solution from box design to production, storage and delivery.  As specialists in stock and serve, we can hold packaging  for our customers, ready to be delivered as and when required. We are not only a specialist in box manufacturing but a logistics partner that can help maximise the efficiency of our customers' operations.

The Box Factory’s team of designers spend time understanding each of the requirements from a business before providing a bespoke solution. With the range of possibilities with existing FEFCO styles and brand new bespoke solutions, The Box Factory’s design team has to demonstrate flexibility to think outside the box (we couldn’t resist the pun). That’s why each member thinks critically, to offer cutting edge, innovative packaging solutions. The Box Factory is driven by its customers, that’s why we listen, learn and deliver each solution to exacting specifications.

Sustainability and Renewal

A completely new roof is fitted at our Caswell Road manufacturing site and a large solar array is installed generating 20% of the sites energy requirement.

Pushing Boundaries

A new wide format four colour rotary die-cutter was purchased giving the ability to print both sides in one pass, increasing efficiency and further enhancing our product offering.

Landing a Prime Spot on Monopoly

The Box Factory lands a coveted spot on the iconic Monopoly board, representing the great and good of the Regency Town, Leamington Spa. Proudly featured on a Red square, alongside landmarks like the Royal Pump Rooms and The Parade.

The company celebrates 30 years of trading, marking three decades of growth, innovation, and dedicated service to customers in the packaging industry.

Reaching £20 Million in Sales

A major milestone. Surpassing the £20 million mark in sales reflects our sustained growth and the increasing demand for the service and products we offer.

Caswell Road Transformation

The Caswell Road site is completely converted into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This expansion paved the way for a third three-colour latitude casemaking line to be installed at this site.

Expansion at Berrington Road

A large plot of land is purchased on Berrington Road, leading to the construction of an additional storage facility. This development enhances the company's logistics operations and stockholding capacity, supporting future growth.

Going Green

The first large solar power array is installed covering the main manufacturing site in Berrington Road. This generates 20% of the business’ electricity requirement.

Innovating for the Future

The sales office undergoes a renovation, and a purpose-built Design Centre is constructed with a new DYSS CAD table for faster prototyping.

Commitment to Sustainability

The company achieves FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) accreditation, a hallmark of responsible forest management. This certification ensures that the materials used in production come from a recycled or sustainably managed source, reinforcing the company’s dedication to environmental responsibility.

Boost to our Stock and Serve Capacity

An additional storage site is acquired on Highdown Road, Leamington Spa, boosting the company’s ability to store materials and products, ensuring better stock management and faster delivery to meet growing demand.

Expanding Production with a New Eterna Die Cutter

A third fully-automatic Eterna die cutter is purchased and added to the production line, increasing the company’s manufacturing capacity while enhancing speed, precision, and product quality.

Enhancing Efficiency with Vega Multipoint Gluer

The company invests in a Vega Multipoint Gluer, further optimizing production by allowing for the precise gluing of complex packaging, speeding up the assembly process and increasing production efficiency.

Achieving BRCGS Accreditation

The company earns accreditation to BRCGS, a globally recognized standard for quality and safety in packaging materials, affirming its dedication to maintaining the highest industry standards.

Precision in Print

A new ink mixing kitchen is installed, enhancing the ability to produce custom colours with greater accuracy and efficiency.

Going Paperless

All factories transition to a paperless system, with new data instruction and collection terminals installed on every machine. This shift enhances operational efficiency, reduces waste, and ensures real-time data tracking, modernising the production process for greater accuracy and sustainability.

Cutting-Edge Production

Our first new 4 colour Latitude Casemaking line is installed in Berrington Road with fully automated bundle and pallet handling. Boxes can now be produced in one pass for the very first time.

Major Growth Milestone

A new 35,000 square foot manufacturing site was purchased in Berrington Road, Leamington Spa which became the largest manufacturing site to date.

Expanding and Evolving

The Caswell Road site was extended to give additional storage space.

The offices also went through an expansion overhaul to facilitate growth after achieving accreditation to ISO 45001 (H&S Management).

Hitting the Road

Our first branded vehicles were purchased, T70 BOX and T80 BOX, driven by drivers Roger and Dave.

The Beginning of Our Journey

The Box Factory is incorporated and still proudly independently owned today. Purchase of the first factory took place in 1992 in Caswell Road, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. This is our operational headquarters to this day.

Initial machinery installed and production began.
