Based in Warwickshire, The Box Factory provides packaging solutions across the UK. Its team of over 100 specialists sit across a variety of sections: design, manufacturing, logistics, sales, marketing and customer relations. They all work in conjunction to create a seamless process that creates the perfect solution from box design to production, storage and delivery. A completely new roof is fitted at our Caswell Road manufacturing site and a large solar array is installed generating 20% of the sites energy requirement.
A new wide format four colour rotary die-cutter was purchased giving the ability to print both sides in one pass, increasing efficiency and further enhancing our product offering.
The Box Factory lands a coveted spot on the iconic Monopoly board, representing the great and good of the Regency Town, Leamington Spa. Proudly featured on a Red square, alongside landmarks like the Royal Pump Rooms and The Parade.

The Caswell Road site is completely converted into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This expansion paved the way for a third three-colour latitude casemaking line to be installed at this site.
A large plot of land is purchased on Berrington Road, leading to the construction of an additional storage facility. This development enhances the company's logistics operations and stockholding capacity, supporting future growth.
The first large solar power array is installed covering the main manufacturing site in Berrington Road. This generates 20% of the business’ electricity requirement.
The sales office undergoes a renovation, and a purpose-built Design Centre is constructed with a new DYSS CAD table for faster prototyping.
The company achieves FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) accreditation, a hallmark of responsible forest management. This certification ensures that the materials used in production come from a recycled or sustainably managed source, reinforcing the company’s dedication to environmental responsibility.
An additional storage site is acquired on Highdown Road, Leamington Spa, boosting the company’s ability to store materials and products, ensuring better stock management and faster delivery to meet growing demand.
A third fully-automatic Eterna die cutter is purchased and added to the production line, increasing the company’s manufacturing capacity while enhancing speed, precision, and product quality.
Our second three-colour Latitude Casemaking line was purchased and installed at the Berrington Road site.

The company invests in a Vega Multipoint Gluer, further optimizing production by allowing for the precise gluing of complex packaging, speeding up the assembly process and increasing production efficiency.

A new ink mixing kitchen is installed, enhancing the ability to produce custom colours with greater accuracy and efficiency.
All factories transition to a paperless system, with new data instruction and collection terminals installed on every machine. This shift enhances operational efficiency, reduces waste, and ensures real-time data tracking, modernising the production process for greater accuracy and sustainability.
Our first new 4 colour Latitude Casemaking line is installed in Berrington Road with fully automated bundle and pallet handling. Boxes can now be produced in one pass for the very first time.
A new 35,000 square foot manufacturing site was purchased in Berrington Road, Leamington Spa which became the largest manufacturing site to date.
The Caswell Road site was extended to give additional storage space.
The offices also went through an expansion overhaul to facilitate growth after achieving accreditation to ISO 45001 (H&S Management).
Investment took place in a first semi-automatic Eterna die cutter.
Launch of an extended fleet of lorries to boost service and logistics.
Our First fully automatic Eterna die cutter is purchased increasing manufacturing speeds and accuracy.
Accreditation in both ISO 9001 (Quality Management) & ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).
An additional fully racked warehouse is purchased on Longfield Road to increase stock holding capabilities.
Our first storage site was purchased on Jenton Road, Leamington Spa. This gave the ability to offer just-in-time (JIT) deliveries and the beginning of what our customers know today as ‘Stock & Serve’.
The purchase of our very first TCY Printer Slotter saw us embrace technology further.
Sheet Plant Operational Control System (SPOCS) introduced and installed by KM Software. This started our journey into computer control at the start of our strong relationship with KM Software.
Our first branded vehicles were purchased, T70 BOX and T80 BOX, driven by drivers Roger and Dave.
Roger only retired in 2023!!
The Box Factory is incorporated and still proudly independently owned today. Purchase of the first factory took place in 1992 in Caswell Road, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. This is our operational headquarters to this day.
